The assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden increased by SEK 1 096.6 billion, or 13.5 percent, in the 2018 simplified and special assessment of real estate. The total assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden is SEK 9 199 billion.

The increase of 31.2 percent for one- or two-dwelling building units is mainly due to the simplified assessment for this type of real estate carried out in 2018. The total assessed value of one- or two-dwelling building units is SEK 4 358 billion. The total assessed value of multi-dwelling building and commercial building units increased by 2.0 percent. The total assessed value of agriculture and forestry units remains roughly unchanged.

One- or two-dwelling buildings, built (type code 220), with the highest average assessed value, SEK 9 399 000, are located in Danderyd municipality. Buildings with the lowest average assessed value, SEK 189 000, are located in Åsele municipality.
