Number of employees increased

In the second quarter of 2023, there were 5 132 016 employees. The number of employees increased by 1.2 percent compared with the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 581 billion, an increase of 4.8 percent. There were 171 500 job openings in the labour market, a decrease of 10.7 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in 2022.
