In the third quarter of 2021, there were 4 908 241 employees. The number of employees increased by 2.7 percent compared with the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 514 billion, an increase of 7.2 percent. There were 110 500 job openings in the labour market, an increase of 64.8 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in 2020.
