In the third quarter of 2023, there were 5 105 854 employees. The number of employees increased by 0.1 percent compared with the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 578 billion, an increase of 5.7 percent. There were 115 900 job openings in the labour market, a decrease of 19.4 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in 2022.
