In the fourth quarter of 2023, there were 5 063 445 employees. The number of employees increased by 0.2 percent compared with the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 572 billion, an increase of 5.2 percent. There were 109 100 job openings in the labour market, a decrease of 18.7 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in 2022.
