Rising consumption lifted the economy

The Swedish economy showed sound growth in the third quarter of 2021. According to the National Accounts, the main contributor to GDP growth came from rising household consumption. Economic activities persisted upwards also in October, according to Statistics Sweden’s periodical, “Sveriges ekonomi - statistiskt perspektiv” (in Swedish).
