Change in data source for electricity

The data source used for the calculation of 35.14 Trade services of electricity, has changed as of the publication of PPI for January 2026. Index from the Consumer Pric Index (CPI), without VAT, replaces previous sources. CPI was previously used only for the household share of PPI, while the rest consisted of a model. The data source for the model is no longer available. Given the similar price development for electricity in PPI and CPI, CPI is now the only source of data for 35.14 in PPI.
