Statistical agency: Public health agency of Sweden

The national public health survey is a national study on health, lifestyle and living conditions. This survey was first conducted in 2004 and has since been conducted annually until 2016 when it is conducted every other year, with the exception of an extra survey 2021 due to the pandemic. The aim is to show the population's (aged 16 and older) state of health, to monitor changes in health and health determinants over time and to stratify results by sex, age, income, country of birth, occupation, education and region.

    Statistics on childhood vaccinations

Statistical agency: Public health agency of Sweden

Childhood vaccinations based on the National Vaccination Register (NVR) are used to monitor vaccination coverage for all vaccinations included in the national vaccination program for children. Statistics based on data from NVR have been produced since the statistical year 2021 (and included in Sweden's official statistics since the statistical year 2022). The purpose of the statistics is to provide an annual account of vaccination coverage and its development over time regarding the diseases covered by the national vaccination programme for children. The statistics also provide an overview of vaccination coverage at national, regional and municipal level.
