Restaurant sales increased in November
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2018-01-10 9.30
The restaurant sales volume increased by 5.5 percent in November compared with the same period last year. The strongest increase in sales volume was in fastfood restaurants, which increased by 7.1 percent.
The volume of sales in fastfood restaurants and restaurants near traffic rose by 7.1 percent in November. Cafés had the second strongest increase, rising by 6.9 percent compared with November 2016. Personnel restaurants had the weakest development in volume of sales, -3.1 percent, in October.
In current prices, the turnover for restaurants increased by 9.1 percent in November compared with the same month last year.
