Supplement on contingent liabilities and potential obligations to the EDP related questionnaire

EU Directive 2024/1265 amended 2011/85 specifies a number of requirements on Member States' public finance frameworks. It includes quarterly statistics about revenues, expenditures and net lending/net borrowing for central and local government, and social security funds with annual publication of supplementary data where the aim is to capture transactions which could affect public finances.
From January 2026 national accounts data replace previous budget data. At the same time, monthly data for central government and social security funds are replaced by quarterly data, while local government quarterly data continues but refer to national account's definitions. Old budget data remains in the statistical database but without updates.
