Correction 2024-04-24

In connection with the publication of the March LFS, a number of tables are being republished due to two minor errors. On 1st January 2021, the Labour Force Surveys (LFS) were adapted to the EU's new regulation (2019/1700) for social statistics. The adaptation led to a break in the time series including previous data, which has since been adjusted though the micro-linking regarding the period 2005–2020, for the population aged 15–74 years. To be able to micro-link over the break in the time series, some observations have been imputed; from previously being employed, but absent from work, to being outside the labour force. These have previously been incorrectly included in some of the tables regarding the period 2005–2020. The error is of a marginal magnitude.

The second correction concerns 2021 and onwards. Two variables that indicate whether an employed person has been absent for the whole week or part of the week were not mutually exclusive, which is why a few respondents were counted as absent parts of the week even though they were absent for the whole week. The correction concerns Table 12 and the error has been of minor magnitude.
