Restaurant sales decreased in April
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2017-06-07 9.30
The restaurant sales volume in April decreased by 0.2 percent compared with the same period last year. The strongest decrease in sales volume was among personnel restaurants, which decreased by 17.4 percent.
While personnel restaurants had a drop in volume of sales of 17.4 percent in April, another type of restaurant with negative development in volume of sales were roadside restaurants (-10.2 percent). Entertainment restaurants had the strongest increase in volumes of sales in restaurants, 7.8 percent, in April.
The turnover for restaurants increased by 3.2 percent in April compared with the same month last year.
