Small increase in restaurant sales in February

The restaurant sales volume in February increased by 0.5 percent compared with the same period last year. The sales volume for hotel restaurants increased and amounted to 6.3 percent.
The volume of sales in hotel restaurants rose by 6.3 percent in February, and other types of restaurants with positive development in volume of sales were fast food restaurants (3.8 percent) and cafes (2.0 percent). Among restaurants, personnel restaurants have had the weakest development in volume of sales, -10.0 percent, in February.
The turnover for restaurants increased by 3.3 percent in February compared with the same month last year.
