Restaurant sales increased in July

The restaurant sales volume increased by 2.5 percent in July compared with the same period last year. The strongest increase in sales volume was in cafés, which increased by 11.8 percent.
The volume of sales in cafés rose by 11.8 percent in July. Personnel restaurants was another type of restaurant with positive development in volume of sales, at 10.2 percent. Among restaurants, hotel restaurant sales and restaurants near traffic had the weakest development in volume of sales, -1.9 percent, in July.
The turnover for restaurants increased by 5.3 percent in July compared with the same month last year.
