The Business Cycle clock (which is available in English) is published monthly, except for July.

Stable Swedish economy despite weak start of the year

2026-06-15

The Swedish economy started the year a little tentatively. After a very strong fourth quarter last year, GDP was unchanged in the first quarter of this year. Household consumption continued to increase and has had a positive trend for three years. The monthly GDP indicator has shown an increase in both March and April.
