The National Accounts (NA) is an accounting system that summarises and describes the country's economic activities and development. The National Accounts include calculations of the Gross domestic product (GDP), real sector accounts and financial accounts.
National Accounts 2022-06-02: Compared to the publication of May 30th, there have been two revisions to the labour input of market producers and producers for own final use. On May 31st, the labour input was revised for the first quarter of 2022. This resulted in a revision in the volume change of the number of hours worked for the total economy, from previously published 0.9 percent to 1.5 percent, measured in actual, non-adjusted values. The volume change of the number of persons employed in the total economy was revised from 2.5 percent to 3.0 percent. On June 2nd, the number of persons employed was revised for the quarters of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.

GDP decreased by 0.8 percent in the first quarter 2022, seasonally adjusted and compared to the previous quarter. The downturn is mainly explained by net exports. Imports increased considerably more than exports. Calendar adjusted and compared with the first quarter of 2021, GDP increased by 3,0 percent.
