  • Higher GDP in March

    Swedish GDP increased by 1.9 percent in March, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, according to the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the first quarter as a whole GDP decreased with 0.2 percent compared with the preceding quarter. Calendar adjusted GDP for March was 2.5 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year, while GDP for the quarter as a whole was 1.6 percent higher than in the first quarter of 2025.

  • Unchanged GDP in February

    Sweden’s GDP was unchanged in February, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, according to the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calendar adjusted GDP was 1.6 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

    Sweden’s GDP decreased by 1.1 percent in January, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calendar adjusted GDP was 0.6 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • GDP down in December

    Swedish GDP contracted by 0.6 percent in December, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, according to the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the fourth quarter as a whole GDP increased with 0.2 percent compared with the preceding quarter. Calendar adjusted GDP for December was 0.9 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year, while GDP for the quarter as a whole was 1.8 percent higher than in the fourth quarter of 2024.

  • Higher GDP in November

    Sweden’s GDP increased by 0.9 percent in November, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, according to the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calendar adjusted GDP was 2.7 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.
