  • GDP indicator down in July

    Sweden’s GDP contracted by 0.8 percent in July, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP was 0.9 percent lower than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • Higher GDP in June

    Sweden’s GDP increased 0.9 percent in June, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the second quarter as a whole GDP contracted 0.8 percent compared with the preceding quarter. In June GDP was 1.9 percent higher than in June of 2023 while the second quarter remained in line with the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.

  • GDP indicator up in May

    Sweden’s GDP increased 0.1 percent in May, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP decreased by 0.2 percent compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • GDP indicator down in April

    Sweden’s GDP decreased 0.7 percent in April, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP was largely unchanged compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • Lower GDP in March

    Sweden’s GDP contracted 0.3 percent in March, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the first quarter as a whole GDP contracted with 0.1 percent compared with the preceding quarter. Both the month of March and the quarter as a whole had GDP-levels 1.1 percent lower than in their respective corresponding periods of 2023.
