Sweden's economy – statistical perspective, 2nd quarter 2016:

Return to slower growth

Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2016-09-28 9.30

Sweden's economy continued to grow at a lower rate in the second quarter compared with the strong upturn in 2015. GDP growth is thereby roughly in line with average growth over the last five years.

Economic development continues to be domestically driven, with housing investments in the lead, although the previously strong growth for household consumption has come to a standstill. Exports dropped for the second quarter in a row.
