The coronavirus pandemic has left a dramatic imprint on GDP growth in the past two quarters. Following a historically large downturn in the second quarter, the economy turned upwards and recovered a large part of the loss in the third quarter. Rising exports and higher consumption expenditures contributed most to GDP growth, following major declines in the previous quarter.
