This is the interim report within the governmental assignment Statistics on Living Conditions for Persons with Disabilities, which will be finalized on 25 February 2028.
The interim report describes the work carried out and the work planned within the assignment regarding:

• the development of a register-based measure of persons with disabilities. By 25 February 2028, Statistics Sweden (SCB) shall submit a completed proposal for a register variable as well as recommendations for how the register-based work should continue.
• the annual production and publication of statistics on the living conditions of persons with disabilities based on the Surveys of Living Conditions (ULF).
• conducting analyses of children’s living conditions based on the register-based measure.
