The statistics are based on samples and registers and are designed to measure monthly turnover trends in retail trade and quarterly wholesale trade and other service industries. The survey is coordinated with other economy-based surveys.
Due to a calculation error affecting retail sales in consumables, a correction is being made to the statistics on Turnover in retail trade, relating to the reference month March 2026. In connection with this, a standard revision of input data affecting all industries is also performed. Corrected statistics on Turnover in retail trade will be published tomorrow, Tuesday 19 May 2026 at 8:00 a.m., as statistical news, tables and charts, as well as tables in the statistical database.
