Intrastat, Arrivals and Dispatches of Goods
Intrastat is a monthly survey of Sweden’s commodity trade with other EU member states. The survey measures the value and quantity of arrivals and dispatches of goods. The information is distributed by goods and EU countries.
The statistics are used by SCB in calculating the National Accounts and in calculating the balance of payments, and reported to the statistical office of the European Union, Eurostat. Detailed statistics on goods is also used as a basis for decision-makers in the business sector, its organisations, and public authorities.
The data collection is carried out by authorities across the entire EU.
