Mortgage rates continued to decline in July

2026-08-27

The average floating interest rate for new mortgage agreements to households declined to 2.74 percent in July 2026. The fixed interest rates on housing loans with maturities over three months and up to one year decreased from 2.84 percent in June to 2.79 percent in July. The average interest rates for housing loans with maturities up to and including five years declined to 3.21 percent over the same period. At the same time, the growth rate for housing loans increased to 3.4 percent in July.
